With Thanksgiving coming up, people often ask, ‘What are you thankful for?’
I asked my hubby what he’s thankful for. He said, “You, the kids, the dog, and coffee.” He actually has a t-shirt that says this (or something similar). Ok, I bought it for him, but it’s true, and well, you get the gist.
Sometimes people try to think of the grand ideas to be thankful for. Sure, those are incredibly important. However, sometimes appreciating the simple things in life helps us realize that each day offers something meaningful.
I actually found a list compiled by a social worker in St. Louis, and it’s something that I love, so I wanted to share it with you all. It’s called,
50 Things to Be Grateful For (That Aren’t Just “Family and Friends). Enjoy!
I’m thankful for many things, but I honestly don’t like being put on the spot about them when it comes to holding up a Thanksgiving meal. I mean, I’m hungry. But the reality is that I’m grateful for everything and everyone.
So, thank you for trusting The HR Team with your most important matters. While many things have changed with us, I’m still here and still care about YOU!
Happy Thanksgiving!
