Senior Consultant
Prior to joining “The HR Team,” Linda held Human Resources leadership and Director positions for several community banks and other industries. During her career she has designed the foundation of formalized process, procedures, and structure for the Human Resources function. Linda designed, implemented, and facilitated a cost-effective, comprehensive two year-long management and leadership development program using in-house subject matter experts resulting in high participant ratings. During her tenure in one role, in addition to directing all aspects of the HR function, she designed, implemented, and managed the bank’s call center. As a result, she was selected as a keynote panelist for the Virginia Community Bankers Association panel and presentation on the implementation of call centers in the community bank setting.
Linda has over 35 years of in-depth experience as a Human Resources professional working in front line to executive level positions. She has extensive background in HR generalist functions, including employee recruitment and retention, new hire orientation, staff development, mediation, conflict resolution, benefits, HR records management, HR policy implementation, legal compliance, training, and professional development. She has successfully resolved multi-complex and potentially litigious personnel problems during her career. Her focus has been on human resources management and administration, with a concentration on employment practices and employee relations.
Linda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from George Mason University, with a specialty in counseling skills and personality profiling instruments. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She has spoken before local businesses, community groups and banking institutes helping to inspire organizational and personal excellence.
