Alana joined The HR Team in 2024. She has over 20 years of experience in leadership, business development, management, and human resources. Alana’s expertise lies in optimizing organizational performance, fostering employee engagement, and driving strategic initiatives.
Throughout her career, Alana has held key leadership roles in the retail and business sector. She has successfully led teams, implemented talent development programs, and streamlined HR processes. Her commitment to employee well-being and organizational growth has consistently delivered results.
Prior to joining The HR Team, Alana served as an accomplished Senior HR Business Partner and Consultant with Paychex, Inc. for nearly fifteen years. During her time at Paychex, Inc. Alana worked closely with organizational leaders and stakeholders of small and mid-sized businesses to create and ensure HR initiatives supported long-term growth and employee engagement. Her commitment to excellence and ability to navigate the intersection of HR and business strategy has allowed her to build lasting relationships in the Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia business community.
Alana earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, and her Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of Arizona Global Campus.
